The new 700 bed residence hall at Sam Houston State University is coming along nicely. We are installing our millwork throughout and the building will be ready to house students this fall. The building contains two types of bedrooms and will have a Community Learning Center with state-of-the-art technology and a 24-hour computer lab reserved for residents. Both indoor and outdoor community space will also be available for group activities.
The Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory (TVMDL) has a brand new facility in College Station, TX. TVMDL serves the animal industry of Texas through veterinary diagnostics and protects the public health by identifying potentially dangerous specimens found in animals. Their new facility contains state of the art laboratories, educational spaces, work spaces and a cafe. The architects, Perkins + Will, used a sleek, mid-century feel throughout the building. Keystone provided the sycamore casework throughout, the walnut slat wall and ceiling, the reception desk, display case, the solid surface countertops and the panel office walls.
We are punching out at the Texas A&M Computing Services project. Check out the images for a sneak peek at the renovations. This hi-tech, modern and sleek new facility will surely be a favorite spot for students.
Christ United Methodist Church in College Station, TX recently finished construction on their 3rd portable medical clinic made from a shipping container. This one will be taken to a remote fishing village near Matamoros in Mexico. We designed, fabricated and installed the cabinetry for this container. The team from CUMC were very pleased with what they called “top notch quality” millwork and we were pleased to be part of such a top notch quality project.
